Ironic, isn't it? That the Bush White House, which said they'd run the White House as a CEO runs his company, recently lost nine billion dollars in Iraq. But, in another blow to lady "competence," BushCo has apparently been caught unawares by the election's outcome.
Excerpt: When the Bush administration decided to invade Iraq two years ago, it envisioned a quick handover to handpicked allies in a secular government that would be the antithesis of Iran's theocracy -- potentially even a foil to Tehran's regional ambitions. But, in one of the greatest ironies of the U.S. intervention, Iraqis instead went to the polls and elected a government with a strong religious base -- and very close ties to the Islamic republic next door. It is the last thing the administration expected from its costly Iraq policy -- $300 billion and counting, U.S. and regional analysts say.
Donald Rumsfeld is flip-flopping! First they're "old Europe," now he's apparently a "new man!"
Further proof that the Homeland Security Department doesn't work as well as it should. I mean, when people can carry butcher knives on board a plane, and not even get stopped, well, you've got problems.
What in the hell is CNN playing at?
There aren't that many good stories today, at least not that I've stumbled upon, so that will be it for today.
